IJM seeks an Analyst, Financial Planning, Latin America to provide regional-level leaders with the support, information, analysis and insight needed to make the strategic decisions that will allow IJM’s Latin America region to achieve our regional objectives as part of the 2030 Vision, while ensuring fiscal responsibility and good stewardship within our region.  This role also will work closely with the Global Finance Planning team to ensure alignment, information and support for Global-level planning and decision-making needs. Collaborating across all teams in the region, this position reports directly to the Regional President, Latin America with dotted line reporting to the Vice President of Financial Planning.     This position will be based in Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, or the Dominican Republic and is open to applicants who are nationals or residents of those countries. IJM Latin America has programs in Guatemala, El Salvador, Dominican Republic and Bolivia, and is looking into expansion opportunities in Peru and other countries in the region. In the Dominican Republic, IJM’s program is addressing the commercial sexual exploitation of children -CSEC and other forms of human trafficking in close collaboration with the Dominican government, civil society, NGO partners and the community. IJM’s role is to activate agents of change and to accompany Dominican justice, rule of law and law enforcement agencies to assume ownership of and capacity to rescue, protect and restore victims and to hold perpetrators accountable. Such ownership and increased capacity should result in decreasing the impunity and prevalence of CSEC and human trafficking.   IJM DR Country Director is seeking a qualified, dynamic and proactive DILED, to lead a group of people with the purpose of improving the organizational capacity of Dominican police and other local law enforcement agencies to effectively address the crime of commercial sexual exploitation of children and other forms of trafficking, influencing at the strategic and tactical levels to to change and improve investigative methods, arrest of suspects for prosecution, , and protection and rescue of victims.   This position is responsible for the influencing key government officials and leadership of the Dominican Law Enforcement to make combating human trafficking a government priority. This position also develops and catalyzes the leadership and potential of external partners through matrix management that also includes the efforts of IJM agents; which, in turn, will add value to the institutions and their members.   The DILED role is based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and reports to the IJM’s Country Director in the DR.

In coordination with Regional and Field Office leadership and Global Partnerships, the Regional Activation and Business Development Officer will identify, prioritize and engage the most strategic development agencies, governments, community, churches, and corporate powers in the region with the aim of mobilizing their power to influence local governments to own transforming justice systems. They will also identify strategic resources for IJM and its partners. They will cast a vision and execute the strategy for regional Activation and maintain understanding of the changing external context, leading ongoing adaption of the region’s strategy. This role will leverage IJM’s 20 years of front-line programmatic experience and successful program outcomes to secure strategic partnerships, increase IJM’s influence, expand IJM’s operations and mainstream IJM’s theory of change in Latin America.   This position will be based in Colombia, Peru, Guatemala, El Salvador, or the Dominican Republic and is open to applicants who are nationals or residents of those countries.
