    IJM is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented individual to facilitate daily database administration tasks, data stewardship projects, and data entry. The successful candidate will be a solutions-oriented problem-solver with experience using Excel and other tools to manipulate and clean data in a fast-paced, professional environment.

    This position is based at IJM Headquarters in the Washington, DC area and reports to the Director of Advancement Services.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate the day-to-day management of data entry and data inflows to the Salesforce CRM;
    • Review and de-duplicate the Salesforce database;
    • Perform data hygiene projects as assigned to increase data quality for all revenue streams and constituencies;
    • Implement high standards of quality, consistency, and accuracy of all constituent data in the IJM database;
    • Add new constituents to the database; and
    • Help to document policies and procedures to increase data stewardship throughout IJM’s US Advancement team.

    Requirements

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience;
    • Proven ability to provide professional customer service to a variety of constituents;
    • Bachelor’s degree;
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
    • Exceptional ability in written and oral communications; and
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain accurate data; prior experience using Salesforce preferred.
