    The overall purpose of the Program Management Fellow role is to assist field office leadership in setting up management systems sufficient for the Justice System Transformation program to operate as outlined in the program proposal and Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP).

    • Develop new/revised management processes and workflows (e.g., team composition; team functions; team meeting and communication practices; review and approval process for work packages; reporting/accountability system, tools, and templates);
    • Oversee management and revision of Detailed Implementation Plan (methods to update it from completed work; methods to predict and solve schedule conflicts and constraints);
    • Oversee/lead/develop structure for quarterly program reviews (attendance, process, inputs to IJM change control system, updates to program plans); and
    • Mentor technical staff on project management.


    Positions may be available in: Manila, Philippines; Cebu, Philippines; Chiang Mai, Thailand; Bangalore, India; Kolkata, India; Chennai, India; Delhi, India; Mumbai, India; Kampala, Uganda; Gulu, Uganda; Accra, Ghana; La Paz, Bolivia; Guatemala City, Guatemala; or Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Not every position will be available in every office.


    IJM's Fellowship opportunities vary every session and look different in every office. Fellows generally will assist a specific person or team. The positions involve the described tasks and responsibilities as well as other relevant duties that may be assigned by the Field Office Director or Supervisor.


    General Qualifications and Required Skills

    • Project Management qualification (PMP®, Prince2® or similar certification) or graduate level qualification;
    • Five+ years of project management experience, ideally in culturally diverse settings and on complex projects;
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
    • Fluency in Spanish required for Latin America offices.
