  • The Need

    The Salesforce Business Analyst will lead the requirements gathering, planning and development for applying technology to satisfy Global Advancement fundraising and advocacy work. They will define and document internal and external user needs, data requirements and definitions. They will act as the liaison among internal stakeholders to communicate and validate business priorities and system design the CRM platform applications. Training, testing and deployment support for front line users is also a primary responsibility.


    • Engage with stakeholders to gather and qualify requirements. Create clear documentation and guidance for build team allowing up-to-date prioritized backlog of requests that is complete with design guidance and acceptance criteria.

    • Actively engage as a member of build team with assigned sprint responsibilities, configuration changes during sprints, UAT during deployments and communication/change management plan with PMO, to ensure 90% completion documentation, testing and user stories in sprint cycle.

    • Completes communications assignments post sprint.

    • Interface with data teams and assist in strategy and hygiene process, auditing, design and documentation.

    • Performs analysis on data as required. Audits and maintains data quality of key areas in the system.
    • Train new users and super users on new functionality in key systems. Partners with Business Super Users to develop test.
    • Conduct regular new hire trainings, super user bi-weekly system reviews and maintain key KBAs on system scenarios for UAT testing and to manage UAT execution.
    • Qualifies defects/enhancements, monitors ticket queue & escalates to System Administrators. Maintains low volume ticket queue and ensures clear tracking of new enhancement requests in the backlog.
    • Create ad-hoc reports and KPI dashboards as requested by user groups or stakeholders. Produce accurate reporting for GA managers and for key KPIs. Produce accurate reporting for GA managers and for key KPIs.


    • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience, must include working with Salesforce CRM or transferable skills with another CRM/DMS;
    • Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education, experience and certification;
    • Experience providing training and consultation to a wide variety of audiences;
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple or competing priorities and work in a fast paced environment;
    • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-cultural relationships;
    • Experience working in multi-cultural environment;
    • Experience in an Agile work environment preferred; and
    • High proficiency in Excel or with other data analysis tools preferred.
